Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has approved the re-appointment of Alhaji Sani Dawaki Gabasawa, as the Executive Chairman of Kano State Pension Fund Trustees, with immediate effect.
Appreciating the Chairman's last appointment as the immediate past Executive Chairman, governor Ganduje commended Gabasawa for the effective and efficient handling of his responsibilities, which ushered in a new dawn in pension administration in the state.
"During your first appointment, you did well which deserves your re-appointment. We are glad to see what you achieved in the past. You did well, while showing us that you could prove your mettle," Ganduje said.
He called on the newly re-appointed Chairman to employ modern technology in the discharge of his responsibilities, "Looking at the modern day technological advancement, we need to also comply with it, as a way of promoting global best practice."
Governor Ganduje assures that he would continue to support the Pension Fund Trustees for more effective, efficient, transparent and prudent pension management and administration.
"I will therefore call on the Executive Chairman to work harder and improve upon what he is known for. Which will go a long way in the welfare of our pensioners," governor Ganduje concludes.
