   In continuation of the familiarization and inspection visit to agencies, departments assets, the State Commissioner for Housing and Transport, Honorable Mahmud Muhammad Santsi has paid a visit to Gwammaja and Shiekh Jafar Mahmud housing estates.

The Commissioner expressed his happiness over the rapid development of the housing estates, describing Gwammaja housing estate as the oldest as far as housing schemes is concerned in the state.
He disclosed that the ministry and housing corporation will ensure that original master plan for the estate will be maintained, calling on the occupants to laise with the corporation in terms of occupants change of name and certificates of occupancy.
Speaking on Sheikh Jafar Mahmud housing estate, the Commissioner said that he has identified the areas that need government attention which includes completion of electricity and water projects, assuring the State government commitment to ensure the completion of the projects for speedy development of the estate.
Honorable Mahmud Santsi called on the leadership of the pension trustees fund to liase with the housing corporation and proffer solutions to ensure their houses are occupied and sold out to interesting individuals.
