Rano Emirate: Ganduje tasks LGAs for active support and participation

Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has charged the 10 Local Government Areas under Rano Emirate to give maximum support and ensure full participation in all its activities in the interest of progress of their respective communities.

The10 Local Goverment Areas that fall under the new Rano Emirate include Rano, Sumaila, Kibiya, Bunkure, Kura, Garun Malam,Takai, Tudun Wada, Doguwa and Bebeji.

Addressing thousands of people who came from the 10 Local Government Areas to witness Hawan Sabon Gari organised by the Emirate, Dr. Ganduje represented by his Deputy Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna expressed optimism that the creation of the new Emirate would bring about progress to the affected communities.

" I want to assure you that the four new Emirates being created represent a complete transition to the growth and development of  Security, Health care delivery, Education and Economic of the affected communities  " he disclosed.

Dr. Ganduje urged that " all local government areas under the Emirate should make good arrangements that would restore the good image of the Emirate in the interest of speedy development "

He further thanked all the District Heads under Rano Emirate who attended the traditional Hawan Sabon Gari and called on them to continue to cooperate with the Emir and give their maximum contributions to the development of the affected areas.

" I want to state it clearly that the present administration will not tolarate any act of sabotage that will undermine the progress of the new emirates which are meant to ensure progress of our societies " he warned.

In his Durbar Speech, the Emir of Rano, His Royal Highness Dr. Tafida Abubakar Ila thanked Almighty Allah for making the Muslim Ummah to witness the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan and observed the Edil Fitr in good health.

" traditionally, Rano Emirate use to organise Hawan Sabon Gari to rejoice with Muslim Ummah on the annual celebration of both the Edil Fitr and Edil kabir respectively but today's celebration is unique as it has been performed under a fisrt class independent Emirate " he explained.

Dr. Abubakar Tafida expressed gratitude to the Almighty God for restoring the old glory and status of Rano Emirate which had been in existence and being enjoiyed by their fore farthers.

" I want to use this opprtunities to thank the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for approving the law passed by the Honorable Members Kano State House of Assembly which give autonomous to our Emirate " the Emir said.

Dr. Abubakar ila further assured the State Government that the four Emirates would be ready to work hand in hand with Stakeholders on all aspects of human endeavour to ensure the development of the State and country at large.

Earlier, the Charman of Rano Local Government Area Alh. Ya'u Abdullahi commended the administration of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for executing developmental projects in the area which include among other the dualization of Kibiya - Rano road, Rano - Bunkure - Karfi road and Rano - Rurum -- Tiga - Bebeji raod.

" Your excellency one of the major project by this administration  which we are proud of it, is the restoration of the past glory of our Emirate and we simcirely thank you and our Honorable Members for the fore sight " he stated.
