FOUR 400-Bed Spaces Hospitals In New Emirates, As Ganduje Kick Starts Process

   Determined to take the state to higher level in the health sector, like other areas, through the newly created 4 Emirates, governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state, kick starts the process with the call for contractors to apply for the construction of the proposed ultra-modern hospitals at the headquarters of each newly emerged Emirates, with the capacity of 400 bed spaces.

Global Fund Commits Over N11b To Fight Malaria In Kano

 Impressed by the achievements in the health sector in Kano state, under Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Global Fund for TB, HIV & Malaria, commits over Eleven Billion Naira (N11b) in Kano, purposely to fight Malari in the state, from 2018 to 2020.

Assuring that, they would continue to support the state in the areas of fight against Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and Malaria, in an effort to see to the healthy state in particular and the nation in general. 

APC Governors' Forum Rates Ganduje Highest Among Colleagues

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors' Forum rates Kano State Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as the best performing governor  in their Progressive Strides Report. 

This was contained in a letter sent to the governor, dated  7th October, 2019 and signed by the Director General of the Forum, Salihu Mohammad Lukman. Which was captioned "Progressive Strides - Tracking Developmental Initiatives in APC States."

Kano 9 Kids : Ganduje Promises Justice For Victims,  To Raise Powerful Committee For Full Scale Investigation

  Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has promised to see that justice is done for the 9 children, victims of kidnapping, assuring that all legal instruments would be used to address the situation squarely.

He assures that, the arrested kidnappers, who allegedly participated in the heinous act, along with their accomplices would be prosecuted, so that they face all legal consequences.

  Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje lauds Kano Police Command and all other security agencies for their efforts in rescuing 9 kids allegedly kidnapped in Kano and sold in Anambra state.

Praising that, "This singular action shows the real and patriotic synergy and commitment of the Nigeria Police, Department of State Security Service, Military and all other security agencies in making sure that criminal activities are faced head on."

Kano's Independent 10 Megawatts Project Reaches 90% Completion Stage

 In an effort to bring back the past industrial might and glory of the state, the Kano state governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has wasted no time in completing the Tiga Hydropower Station, that will provide 10  Megawatts of electricity.  

The project was started by the past administration in the state, but to fulfil the promises he made immediately after his inauguration during his first tenure in office in 2015, the project now reaches 90 percent completion.

Free, Compulsory Education : Kano Emir Urges Other States To Copy Ganduje

  Moved by governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje's policy of free and compulsory primary and secondary education in Kano state, the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, urges other states across the country to copy Kano for humanity sake and posterity purposes.

He congratulates the governor for the initiative, describing it as "...greatest benefit for serving humanity. I believe that, this is genuinely initiated because of the zeal to serve Kano people and humanity in general."

Mammoth crowd welcomes Ganduje to Kano

 Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, was received by mammoth crowd on Wednesday after his return from South Africa. 

Ganduje was away from the state when the Justice Shamaki-led Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal panel delivered its verdict, hence the warm reception. 

The governor arrived at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) around 1:30pm from Abuja aboard Max Air.

Gov. Ganduje was received by thousands of supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and then proceeded to Government House through some selected routes. 

Kano Election Tribunal : Kano Stands Still For Ganduje, Celebrated His Victory

 Hundreds of thousands of supporters welcome Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state, to celebrate his victory at the election Tribunal judgement, after defeating the candidate of the People's Democratic Party's Abba Kabir Yusuf, who challenged governor's victory at the gubernatorial poll.

Ganduje was away for about two weeks, when the judgement was passed in his favour by the election Tribunal few days back. He was at the United States of America, as he attended special session at the United Nations Assembly, with other Nigerian governors.
