Ganduje Calls For ICT Integration in National Security

   For effective and efficient taming of insecurity spaces in the country, governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has called for ICT-based integration in national security system, urging that, with that, many positive results could be achieved in the national scheme of things.

He made the call when he received Board and Management members of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), when they paid him a courtesy call in his office, Government House, Kano, with the Chairman of the NCC Board, Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye, leading the team.

Kano to establish education trust fund

   Kano state government would establish an Education Trust Fund, to help the citizens to attain the objective of providing sound education to their children, the state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has announced.
The development is coming shortly after the state government unveiled its free and compulsory basic – senior secondary education policy, which also prioritizes inclusive and Almajiri education, which has received national acclaim.

Ganduje's Victory: Gubernatorial Candidates For 2019 Commend Appeal Court Ruling

  Amalgamation of many gubernatorial candidates from different political parties for the 2019 election commend the ruling of the Appeal Court, Kaduna Division over a ruling in favour of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state, in a suit filed against Ganduje by the opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) and its gubernatorial candidate, Abba Kabir Yusuf.

Kano Emirates - Government Studying Ruling for Appropriate Action

Kano State Government says it is studying the ruling of Kano High Court on the creation of four new Emirates in the state with a view to taking immediate appropriate action.

A statement signed by the state Commissioner of Information, Malam Muhammad Garba , regretted that despite the constitutional power and authority conferred on the State Assembly on such progressive and important issue, the court rules otherwise. 

Investment: Kano Partners China's Shandong Province

   Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has restated the commitment of his administration to partner with People's Republic of China to boosft commercial activities in the State.

He gave the assurance at a meeting with the  business community and a high level delegation from Shandong Province from the People's Republic of China held  in Kano.

Gov. Ganduje proposes N197.6 billion for 2020

   Gov. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State, on Thursday, presented a proposed N197,683, 353, 659  billion Appropriation Bill for the year 2020, to the State House of Assembly.

Presenting the budget estimates, Gov. Ganduje explained that out of the total budget, N117, 710, 626, 881 billion was for capital projects while over N79, 972, 726, 788 billion was asset aside for recurrent expenditure.

Ganduje, Kano Emir Meet Chinese Investors In Lagos

  In yet another joint move by the Kano state governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II, they met with the President of Shandong Provincial Committee, who led a high level delegation of Chinese investors and discussed areas of mutual benefit and interest between them.

Governor briefed the delegation from China that "It is important for the two of us, Kano and Shandong Province to concentrate on these areas for our industrial development. These are leather, textile, agro-allied, particularly rice and wheat, farm mechanization and solid minerals."
