Prior to the official graduation and inauguration of 150 trained youth in automobile mechanic, preparation for another 200 fresh potential trainees,  distribution of empowerment kits to 560 trained vulcanizers, cash empowerment to 440 tricycle mechanics and graduation of 300 Industrial trainees in collaboration with Kano state government across the 44 local governments,

Kano State has Commenced Construction of 10 modern Auto Mechanic Centers

Kano state government has commenced construction of 10 modern and fully equipped auto mechanic centers across the three senatorial zones of the state as part of effort to provide employment for its teeming youths. Three of the centers have been completed while seven are at various levels of completion.
The state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje made this while receiving executive members of the state branch of Nigeria Association of Automobile Technicians, NATA, visited him at the Government House in Kano.

Kano State Government employs 50,000 Youth

Kano state government has provided direct jobs and skills development opportunities for at least 50,000 youth, in the past three years, the state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has revealed.
He said his administration also initiated the Matasa Madogara programme “towards achieving the goal of making our youths more useful to the society which is also one of the prioritized areas of this administration”.

Kano's Multi Billion Naira Skills Acquisition a Step Towards Prosperous Future

Gov. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has said that the state skills acquisition centre project, which is nearing completion, was aimed at closing the gap between education and employability in the state.
The governor made the assertion during a pre-shipment inspection of the centre's equipment at the manufacturing company, Eagle Scientific Ltd., Nottingham, UK.
"This project is the type of change we voted for. We are determined to secure the future of our youth in the best possible way: that is why we decided to invest in this project ", Dr. Ganduje remarked.
