The First Lady Hajia Aisha Buhari Empowers Kano Women and Youth

The Wife of the President Hajia Aisha Buhari today paid a one day working visit to Kano and was received by the Wife of the Kano State Governor, Dr Hafsat Umar Ganduje and other wives of top government officials in the State.

Hajia Aisha Buhari while in Kano, commissioned the future assured office in the state, which is her pet project aimed at empowering women and youth among others. She was accompanied by Dr Hafsat Umar Ganduje.

His Excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR along with Governors of Ondo and Adamawa accompanied President Muhammadu Buhari to Paris for a summit on climate change with 50 other world leaders. The President departed from Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport.

President Muhammadu Buhari visits Gerawa Oil Mills and Fullmark Rice Mills

His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari accompanied by His Excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR and His Excellency Abubakar Badaru visited Gerawa Oil Mills Limited and Fullmark Rice Mills Limited, in continuation of the president's 2-day official visit to Kano.

The N18Billion Gerawa Oil Mills is the biggest oil mills in West Africa with a capacity of 1,200 tonnes daily, and when fully operational will employ 5,000 people.

Gov Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR and the Number One Seed Inspector of Nigeria flanked by the Hon Minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh,DG of Seed Council Dr P.O Ojoh and Hon Member Representing Kumbutso at the National Assembly and Chairman House Committee on Agriculture Dr Mannir Babba Dan Agundi and other participants of the training during an inspection visit to one of the Seed Companies, Seed Project Company at Kadawa of Kura Local Government for quality control.
